Sorry for the hiatus...

...We're in Louisiana and I don't have the time or the pictures to blog. Check on Facebook. That's where everything is. :) I'm terrible at taking pictures so I won't have many to blog when I get home.

Jude is having a wonderful time! The flight was wonderful and he's doing great, even with 3 teeth making their way in. His 7th tooth is about to make an appearance. I am so surprised how easy this has been so far (not the jinx it), but he's still sleeping through the night (knock on wood). He seems to have adjusted to the new routine and all the people really well. He also started scooting around on the hard floor. It's so funny to watch. But in true Jude style, he does it when he wants to and not a moment sooner. I'm really proud of my baby. He has his moments, but don't we all?

Zack graduated from high school and Katie from 8th grade. We partied for both and I am so proud of them! This weekend will be relaxing, not much to do. Well, I'll update later, but again, just check Facebook.

Random phone pictures...

Jude enjoys looking out the window.

All I can see is our dirty mirror. He loves looking at himself. This is part of our night time routine.

He's mad because I won't let him play with my phone.

Mother's Day!

First off, Happy Mother's Day to my Mom, Linda, and Thelma! And to all the other moms out there.:)

I had a wonderful first Mother's Day. It was low-key and relaxing, just the way I wanted it. I spent the day with my boys and felt very thankful and blessed the whole day. How in the world did I get so lucky being Jude's momma??

Mother's Day last year

Mother's Day this year. ( Jude just woke from a nap and wasn't in the smiling mood.)

I LOVE our roses in the back yard and so John and Jude picked me a ton and had them waiting for me in the morning.

Random pictures from my phone...

Jude is trying to push himself into the sitting position. He's getting close!

Having fun with Daddy at lunch.

Smiling at his Momma

Getting too big for his bouncer. Bummer!

Having fun with Jackson at Target.

Our sweet boys.

BFF's high fivin'.

Erin babysat Jude for me while I went to a doctors appointment. She said the boys had a good time and took this video. Jude is upset at the end but right after she cut off the camera Jude grabbed the toy from Jackson and was fine. Haha! These boys are so funny. :)

Our Week

Jude was having a hard time napping one morning so I finally brought him to the couch and we napped together. He slept really good cuddled next to me. :)

Reading his book at Chipolte.

He loves the pulled beef.

Quite a few months ago a few of us decided when everyone was ready to leave their babies we would go on a "Mom's Night Out". This is exactly what we did this past weekend. We kept it to just us 4 since it would be too much to try to get all the moms together and we had been planning it since Erin's baby was just a couple of weeks old.

We stayed in a really nice hotel in downtown Sac.

Our TV when we entered the room.

Michele and Erin as we're walking to dinner.

Michele and I as we wait for the other Michelle to stop at the ATM. Yes, 3 Michelle's and 1 Erin. It wasn't confusing at all. ;)

We had dinner at a super nice restaurant. We were the loud group.

After dinner we walked back to our hotel to change and head to a bar.
At the bar.
We had heard this bar was known for the mermaid. It was pretty cool to watch. The tank was over the whole bar. Super cool.

At breakfast the next morning.

Jude and I have been having a great week. Today was fabulous! We didn't have any plans and by 9am I knew I needed to get us out of the house. I started googling things to do and came across the Folsom Zoo Santuary. It's much smaller than a zoo, but I figured it would get us out. We had such a blast! It's one of those days that I feel so blessed to be able to stay home with Jude. I cherish our good times together and today has been amazing. The zoo was really cool with very little people.
Peacocks and roosters were walking around.

Momma bear and baby bear.

Jude checking out the animals.

Lunch time! (I tried to get the animals in the backround.)

Love that smile...and toupee'.

Right after you exit the zoo is a little train depot. Jude has never been on a train so we paid the $4 and he LOVED it! He sat in the seat next to me and babbled the whole time. His toupee' kept flying up in the wind and I couldn't stop giggling.

The next 2 pictures were sent to me by John while I was away for the night.

Morning naptime.
