Wedding Shower/Easter

I just got back from Louisiana. It was alot of fun and it was also my wedding shower. Mom and I drove down Thursday. Lin, Katie, Annie, and I all went eat boiled crawfish that night. They were sooo good!!! Friday we picked John up from the airport and we all did some shopping. Saturday was the shower. It was so amazing and thanks to all my aunts and Lin for putting together my beautiful shower! The food was amazing! My aunt Cathy made the cake and it was so delicious! I'm not a person who particularly likes cake but I ate 2 pieces.

This was the only picture I could find with all four of us in it. I was opening gifts and Katie, who is also my Maid of Honor, wrote down all the gifts, along with the 2 moms-of-the-bride. With everything going on I didn't have alot of time to think, now I wish we would have taken better pictures. I also thought I had pics of me and Lin on my camera but I don't. That's a little disappointing but now I know to think of these things before hand.

This was taken as John was walking out the door before the shower. He came down and it was great having him in Louisiana with me. He also got to meet more of my family.

Easter morning I went to my aunt Christine's house for lunch. It was sooo good! This is 2 of my brothers and I'm so happy I finally got to see them!

Monday was spent buying meat. It will be a while before I get back to LA so we had to stock up! $200 later, our freezer is full!!! We both had a great time and it was so good being able to see my family and spend time with them. I already miss everyone but 66 days until the big day

Tomorrow, it's back to work :(
