Mom left this morning to go to Illinois to see Josh. We have had such a great time. It's been so nice just relaxing, cooking, and eating our weight in ice cream. John took mom around town all the days I had to work. Saturday we went to the canal to take engagement pictures for us. John and I had planned on going to Archivers today because they had a photographer there who would take 5 pictures for $20. I told mom about it and she suggested she take pictures and see how they came out. We hadn't even thought of that. Anyway, they came out so great!

This is the best of us. I've had such a great time with mom, can't wait until she comes back so we can go to Louisiana!! We leave in 4 days!!!
