And we're off......!!!!

This picture was taken the day John proposed to me. Back in August I was so excited, in love, and couldn't wait to see what the future held. I was also very excited about planning a wedding. We leave tomorrow and were getting married in 5 days. I can't even explain how I'm feeling now. I'm overly excited and nervous!! It was been the most amazing engagement and I can not wait to spend the rest of my life with him. I'm even more in awe with how much I love this man. They way I felt in August has doubled what I feel today. I love him a million times more than I did in August, which is a feeling I've never experienced before. I'm totally excited!!!!

Tomorrow is a 9 hour drive and we'll stay the night in Montgomery, AL. Thursday morning we'll be in FL by 10am. I can't wait to see everyone!!!!

My Bachelorette Party!!

This was the most fun weekend! I had a really hard week and I was looking forward to having some fun! Friday night John, his dad, his mom, his niece, and I went out to dinner then went see the musical Wicked. It was so amazing!! I had goosebumps all night!! Saturday night was my bachelorette party!! These two girls here, Kate and Angela, put my whole day together. It's amazing that I have only lived here for a year but I feel like I have known them for years. They are the absolute best! They surprised me by picking me up at 11:30 for pedicures.

We had a jello shot before we left. Riley wanted in on what we were doing, but he shouldn't have alcohol : ) They brought the decorations, which were alot, and Kate had given me a "bachelorette" sash, camera, wine, vodka, and a book for everyone to sign. Angela brought Hawaiian theme plates, napkins, cups, and a ton of jello shots.

These are our feet when we were finished with the pedicure. Mine are a bright pink for the wedding!! After we left, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch and beers. I had a nap after.

Kate got a Pure Romance lady to come over for a party. If you don't know what that is, google it. I'm not explaining on my blog!! I got ALL KINDS of gifts!! I was told to have a "wish list"and not only was that all bought, some people bought me things that weren't on the list. However, the Pure Romance lady didn't bring much stuff, which was very weird and I'm not sure why, so I won't get 90% of the things bought for me until AFTER we get back from Florida!! Hello, those things were supposed to be for the honeymoon!! Oh well.... There were alot of games and laughter!!

After the Pure Romance party, most ladies left to go home, however there were a few of us who were ready to party! We drove to an area in Indianapolis called Broadripple. It's mostly bars and college kids. We went to a bar called Peppers and danced until about 1am. We took a cab home and about 4 girls slept over. We talked until about 2 and headed off to bed. It was such a great night! About 15 women were at my party so it really was a ton of fun!
John had his bachelor party last night as well. John, his dad, best friend Bob, Bob's boyfriend Mike, and his friend Glen went out to eat and to a place called the Rathskeller. It's a beer garden and it has a dome outside to sit out, drink, and enjoy music. He had a great time and was home in bed by 11:30. We both had great nights! We woke up about the same time and I rolled over and said "one week from today". YaY!!!

Read blog after this one first!!!!

Ok, read the blog under this one before you read this one. This is continuing from the last post. I took a few of these and sure enough, an orb showed up in the mirror at the top. John was probably tired of being in all the pictures but we would call the ghosts over and sure enough they were in the pictures. One time I told them to come sit by me and John took the picture and we couldn't see anything in the picture. When we put it on the computer and it was bigger, there were orbs all above my head.
There is a picture where they are all on the ceiling. John said "There isn't any way that there is that many ghosts." I said it looked like it was one ghost that was moving. Sure enough I looked it up and they said that happens alot in pictures. John took 2 pictures in a row and it looked like it was moving closer to me.
This is the one where it's on his shirt. I think if you click on the picture it may get bigger for you to see. But I took about 5 of this particular picture because they were all over the place. This is the attic we were able to tour. I believe this is the second picture of the ones I took. It's on the right side of his shirt, kind of blending in with the words but on a bigger screen, you can see it clearly.

This was the first of 5 I took. Are you kidding me??!!! On his left it looks like there are 4 orbs, however, in a bigger picture there are about 8. This attic was FILLED with them!

I had to pick and choose pictures for this posting. I really couldn't choose, so I tried to find the pictures with the best orbs in them. Of course I have a few more shots of just this picture and there isn't anything on the armoire on any of the others. I know it's hard to grasp what your seeing, especially if your not a believer. However, I am a big believer so it's a little easier for me. I can just feel them in that house. John is not someone who believes in ghosts however, he was a little put off by the time we left. I think he believes just a little now : ) Also, "someone" turned off our AC in the middle of the night. I had the dress I wore today hanging in the armoire last night and in the middle of the night I thought I heard John going to the bathroom and opening the armoire and messing around with the hangers. I was wondering what he was doing with my dress. I asked him about it this morning and he said he never got up to go to the bathroom at all during the night. So, that's my story!

This was the very first picture I took that I noticed right away had an orb in it. John didn't believe me at first because I kept shooting picture after picture, and of course it wasn't there again or it was in another place. His exact words were "You should have seen your face when you first saw it." I think my heart stopped. It was so big!! Someone pointed out the windows behind John but those are the locks on the windows. Just the one orb on left side of picture. It was absolutely crazy. I think I uploaded 90 pictures this afternoon just from the B&B : )
It was an amazing experience and I thougth about my grandma the whole time, because I know she would have enjoyed the whole experience with me! I think that's where I get my ghost loving from : )
So, I hope John had a great birthday. We had such an adventure and I cant wait to stay there again!

Happy 34th Birthday John!!

I hope John had a great birthday, I know I enjoyed it!! We drove to Vevay, IN to stay the night at a Bed and Breakfast. After we checked in we met his mom, dad, sister, and brother-in-law for dinner at the local winery for a steak dinner. It was delicious!! Each couple got a steak, potato, dessert, and a bottle of wine for a set price. We had such a good time! The winery is located on the Ohio River so John and I posed in front of it. It was a beautiful night to eat outside on the deck.

This was taken after dinner and 4 bottles of wine : ) John and I bought a bottle to share at the Bed and Breakfast for later on that night.

This was just showing what we were really there for. We had a great time and even met some people from St. Francisville, LA there! They saw my car's license plate that says "Louisiana" on it and they had to find out who it belonged to. After we left, we went back to the B&B.

It was built in 1874. It's on the Indiana Paranormal Registry. We did not know that going into it. John asked when we checked in if it was haunted and they guy, very casually, mentioned it may have a ghost or two. Once we got into our room, I started to read the guest book from previous guests. It really started to perk my interest when almost every post said something about "friends" in the house. Whether it was seeing their "friends" again, or hearing music from their "friends" during the night, and so on. I was very intrigued to also learn that a Paranormal group stayed there in February. Obviously this place had a little more than a couple of ghosts. The B&B had a wine tasting when we checked in so of course we had to check that out as well. We met the owner Lisa who was very nice, but not really excited to tell us about the ghosts. She just said there were 7 ghosts total and that they were very nice. She also said one of them was a woman who likes to flirt and if she thought John was single, she may kiss his neck during the night. I was cracking up and John wasn't really laughing at all. When Lisa realized I was very much into learning about the ghosts and the house she was more than willing to open up.
She said they make themselves known quite often. They like to hide her puzzle pieces, turn tv's on and off. If she leaves the house, they get mad and things stop working until she gets back. Lisa said she has a bunch of pictures with orbs in them. If you don't know what an orb is, it's when the spirit is in your picture. It's a white circle and they can be different sizes. She said we should take a picture and wait a second and take another and we'll see orbs. Well, she wasn't lying. I took pictures Sat. night and wasn't quite sure what to look for so I didn't think anything of it. At breakfast this morning she showed us alot of pictures and I knew what I should be looking for. Holy Crap! Almost every single picture has orbs in them. It was crazy.

This is a picture of the dining room. I thought I would take it and blog it, not realizing that the white circle on the left side of the picture between the candle and door is an orb. It's not showing up to good on here because it's a small picture but John and I had them all on the computer at a large size and we saw soooo many. There is even one that looks like it's on John's shirt. This is a continuing blog. You have to see more!!
